A card for color challenge ~ CCMC 128

I am doing a color challenge today
#128 - color challenge

here's the color palette
Create Color Challenge 1-008

I will have to admit that it was not a easy one for me, I had a hard time finding the color "Night of Navy", I almost wanted to run to Michael's just to find something in that color, so I could use it on this card.....

I finally found something from my "teeny bits" box, a box that I keep all the little pieces of paper, some even smaller than an ONE INCH square, LOL, do you save all those up for rainy days? LOL!

I stamped a frame image on cream color cardstock, I used dark blue ink, but it doesn't show much of a dark blue since it is on a cream cardstock. And I placed a tiny piece of "Night of Navy" blue in the middle of the frame, Tada!!!!!! Now I have the blue color "settled"

Here's the LINK again to Create with Connie and Mary if you want to play along

Beautiful card, Kirsty! Yes I keep bits! I have drawers for color groups and they are full again. I try and use pieces anytime I need a piece, but you know how it is, we are hoarders!I love the flowers and the butterflies. Good luck with the challenge!

You are such a clever girl to incorporate a bit of blue this way! Your card is gorgeous; I love polka dots and this is beautiful. Love the bow too; scrunched seam binding is another favorite of mine!
Have a wonderful day!
