Friend Blend

Click HERE for the "Shades of Green" card for City Crafter Challenge Blog

This is a card I made with my girlfriend Ann Peng in mind.
Ann Peng and I knew each other since high school, we were school mate. She moved to Germany after marriage, and then moved back to Singapore when her husband was posted back to work there. We spent a good 7 years in Singapore, sending kids to school, have breakfast and do X'stitching at Ikea's cafe, shopping at Takashimaya for our favorite Japanese kitchenware. Driving around Holland Village admiring at the 5 million dollars mansions but never dream to live in one.
And then she moved back to Germany and I moved to New York City, we meet almost every summer in Singapore, I've visited her in Graffin, and she visited me in NYC. I love tea and she loves coffee, for many afternoon cafe time we spent together at Delifrance, Ann Peng, this one is for you!

I pick the colors up from The Play Date Cafe

These beautiful colors came from Senior designer of the cafe, Sarah Anderson

Linda (My Happy Place) and I met up a few hours ago, we had dinner at Claim Jumper at Town Square, and had a great time together. This is the very first time I met up with a blog friend in person (shhh..... don't tell my daughters, I always tell them NEVER do dangerous thing like this, LOL!)

We exchanged gifts, talked about things from blogging, to camping, to traveling, it was a fun evening and I hope we could do that again sometime soon!

Here's a picture to share

Next is my take on Tag Tuesday Challenge # 57

This week at Tag Tuesday is to incorporate "postage" into the tag, I used my Paris Postage stamp here.

I am so excited, I am meeting Linda (My Happy Place) this evening!
I found Linda's blog when I was starting City Crafter Challenge Blog and invited her to join me as Design Team member for CCCB, I wasn't thinking about where she live at that time. Not long after that, I noticed that she live in Las Vegas, the place I was going to move to (I was in New York then), I was getting excited because I knew that I might get a chance to meet her in person someday. Here is the day, Linda and I are going out for dinner this evening, it is the first time I ever meet a blog friend in person, how cool is that, especially we are "team mate"

Alright, now it is time to show what I've made today
