Olympus Has Fallen

Great story line, but a little too nerve wracking and too much violence scene for me, hubby likes it more than I do....

Paris

I remember playing with Scrap our Stash for the first time in March, I made that layout right before I left for my "round the world" vacation and then scheduled it to come on live while I was on the road, and now it is almost end of April, oh boy.... when did the time goes?

Here's the layout for

Scrap with Stash Challenge #2

I picked out an one tone paper for all the layers, but I layered the lace paper with the same tone over it

frame and label are also stamped on the same paper, some vintage green/blue tone buttons that goes really well with this layout

I used some of those lace paper for embellishment as well

both pictures were from my trip to Paris last month, or should be early this month.... I was there end of March till early April.

I added some grey paper (stamped flower images) for embellishment

more photos...

I think I am quite happy with this..... : )

I love layers.....

Today's card was inspired by this lovely picture at

lots of layers....

that's so me...... LOL

pretty white laser cut frame, gift from Ros

I am pretty happy with this one : )

..............

Last weekend, we went to Tony Orlando's concert

Anyone know what is his most popular song?
Ummm... maybe you are all too young to know, LOL!

He is by far the most sincere singer I've ever seen, still have his great voice, very humble.... the best part is, everyone in his band can SING, really really SING .... and he generously gave them the stage. At the end of his concert, he introduced the stage manager, and this simple, ordinary looking guy in his work crew uniform, knocked everyone down with this great big voice, we thought that it was just a gig, but we stayed on after the concert, oh yes, he was really the stage manager, we saw him tearing down the equipment, carried them one at the time onto the cart, rolled up all the wires on stage.... that was his real job! What a night!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 156 ~ Clouds

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 156

hosted by Ros

the theme - Clouds

Ros picked up a color palette for you to go along with this week's theme, so hop over to City Crafter Challenge Blog to check it out

This is a page I made for my long going project - to redo the old photo album, it was the old kind photo album where you pull out the sticky page and placed the photos and then sealed the page. Few years ago, I decided to take out Lione's baby photo from that album and make a new 8x8 album, boy... it took me years to finish it, I have like 3 pages left for this project and this is one

When Lione was young, the sesame muppets are his favorite pals

look at him today..... his pal is his camera (I think)

ok, back to the page....... with some details

and here's the 8x8 album, 3 more pages to go.....

alright, hop over to

and join in the fun!

PTI Make it Monday #112

Are you having problem trying to embossed those tiny alphabet die cuts, or any die cut that is small, well, I do, I hate it when they "fly" all over the place when I use the heating tools on them.

Now, trouble no more, just watch the video tutorial at

Make it Monday #112 ~ Embossed Alpha Die Cuts

I used PTI headlines alphabets stamp set with the headline alphabets die for the sentiment.

Ink splatters are PTI happy trails stamp set, they were stamped on PTI text style library ledger patterned paper
