I just love you.....

Today, I am playing with this lovely sketch from

Sketch n Scrap December bonus sketch

The photos were taken at Meji Shrine, Japan in October this year. I remember my husband worked early that morning and was done around 3.30pm, the driver took us to Meji Shrine after that, he was very tired, when I asked him to stand in front of those wine barrel for me to take a picture, he just "obeyed" and even squeezed out a smile for my camera, I noticed he looked very tired only when I looked at the photos after, that was sweet of him to do that, LOL!

the journal said "I love when I hold up my camera and said "stay there", you would squeeze out a smile for me no matter how tired you are"

I just love you....

some close-ups of the embellishment I used on this layout, including this handmade flower

My favorite five christmas cards - 2012

I found Debby's blog through Tracy, and thought this is interesting

I rarely "look back" at my own creation, now here's is the opportunity, I had 34 projects this year, it would be fun to scroll back and pick my top 5

this one was created in January

Pink christmas card seen here

I just love this candy cane girl image here

I love blue for holiday cards, this one on December 21 got to be on the list

the last one is hard to pick because I had to struggle with this one here and the other one (if you are curious, you can take a peek, LOL)

well, the "looking back" process is really fun, thanks Debby for organizing this, if you want to have some fun, pop over to Debby's blog for details, and you know what, she has some great prizes for you to win too, so what are you waiting for?

Movie night

Les Miserables

I've seen the Musical few years ago and now the movie, I just love it

Create from the heart

I hope you, my blog friends have a wonderful Christmas!

Today's layout was inspired by the following

ScrapAfrica challenge #12 - film strip

and

If I create from the heart

nearly everything works;

I used lots of gesso and old dictionary pages to create the background

and a lot of scrap from my scrap jars, where I keep all the stuff that was intended for some other projects but didn't turn out well, e.g. the floral frame, the arrows, the kraft frame and half of the doily from prima packaging
