My Boy

This is a 8 x 8 layout I make for MY BOY
and it is based on the color palette over at

I have to admit that I am not good at color challenges, but it is a good way to push myself get out of my comfort zone, using colors that I normally don't.

This blue DP from American Crafts had some really cute whales (embossed) all over, too bad that the picture can't really show

After doing so many 12 x 12 pages, 8 x 8 seems a lot easier as it has less space to filled, LOL!

Alright, you still have time to hop over to COLOUR Q and join in the fun!

Scrapbookers-Anonymous Feb

February Challenge at Scrapbookers- Anonymous is a fun one
The challenge is to use as many "x" as possible in your layout, you know, those alphabets stickers, chipboard letters that we all have, and the letter that is hardly used, the letter "X"

Here's is what I come up with......

well, I have about 4 "X"s here, not that many, but I've try my best.....

I think this one is my favorite, the glittered alphabet stickers from Pixie Dust Paperie December Kit "Time Squares Twenty 11"

This photo was taken at Cape May, NJ winter of 2009 I think, we've been there so many times that I cannot remember when exactly. I love light houses and seafood, that is what draw us to Cape May.

Ingredients -
cardstock and DP - Pixie January Kit "My Funky Valentine"
Alphabets stickers and chipboards are all from the Pixie Kits
Post card - Pixie February Kit "Springtime Pixie"
Others are all stash from the Pixie Kits too.

Project Christmas 2011 ~ card 8

This is card # 8 for my Project Christmas 2011
Thanks to Jingle Belles to help me get a head start with all the christmas card I need for end year.

This week, Jingle Belles is paring up with Sketchy Thursday, which means you can make one card and enter it for 2 great challenges, how great can that be?

Here's the sketch from Sketchy Thursday

And here's my weird little christmas card, LOL!
Yep, I do think it is weird, just don't know what went wrong here, somehow it doesn't look "right" to me!

I am using most of left over from Pixie November Kit "Snow Shoe", endless supplies.... woo hoo..

These Echo Park Christmas Element stickers and Alphabets stickers in the kit are on sale now at the Pixie Shop

I have a surprise this morning, just found out that THIS CARD made me the color queen at COLOUR Q challenge last week, how cool can that be, I wasn't really comfortable using those colors, not my usual, but I love to be challenged, thanks to COLOUR Q for that extra "push" I always needed and help me get out of my comfort zone!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #45 ~ Nothing to it!!!

A new week at City Crafter again, can't you believe how time flies, we are now at week #45

Linda wants "Nothing to it" this week, Yes, NOTHING, no bows, no buttons, no flower, just one dimensional, LOL, kind of tough for me Linda!!!!

Here's the card I made for my husband's birthday

I have been wanting to use that October Afternoon paper for the longest time, just didn't find a chance.

Big bold 53 and sentiment, not the usual thing I go for, but I am loving this

Alright, I am inviting you to take on this challenge with us over at City Crafter Challenge Blog, you can see the lovely samples of our DT

And this week we are having the talented Keri Lee Sereika guest designing with us, what an honor!

Is that ME?

I know this is so not my style, but I love to try something new once in a while.
I am using the color palette from

Not just the card I made is not my style, even the color is a challenge to me, LOL!
Kirsty, get out of those purple and pink, ribbons and trims will you? : )

it was a cloudy and windy day at Vegas yesterday, I had to moved my card around to find a spot for better natural light, that is really rare in Vegas, we have lovely sunny day almost every single day! I really should be thankful!

this picture is slightly darker in shade..

alright, this is all I have for picture today, bad photo day!
