It is always good to have some in your back pocket...

While I am still in San Francisco, I have this to keep you company

I've made a few cards with my Melissa Frances stash a while ago, I've posted a few and this one is the last of the lot....

it is always good to have some of these in your back pocket
so when I am busy playing and no time to craft, I still have a few to show... LOL!

even the bow are from bits and pieces of ribbons, lace that is slightly over an inch, I just tied them together and they make a pretty shabby bow, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by, I will visit you when I get back from San Francisco, meanwhile, you might want to pop over to The Pixie Blog for a sneak peek, August kit preview..... and a GIVEAWAY......  or join in Pixie July Challenge?

Pixie Dust Paperie July Kit - Midsummer Night's Dream - Notepad

This might be my last project for The Pixie Blog using Pixie July Kit "Midsummer Night's Dream", but it is definitely not going to be my last project using this beautiful kit.
Every Pixie Kit is fully loaded with beautiful paper, cardstock and embellishment, I've created a mini album covered from front to back page, inside of the album, and 8 pages, two 12"x12" layout, a card, and group project, this notepad, and I still have lots of left-overs, maybe I should make a card to go with this notepad when I give this away someday

if you love these metal charm as much as I do, grab a kit and you'll get lots of goodies plus a whole pack of these.

I should be in San Francisco when you are reading this post, but I have my post all pre-scheduled so you won't be lonely, LOL! As usual, I won't be on the computer that much when I am on the road, I will visit your blog when I get back, mean while, have a fun-filled weekend!

Why are you so upset Baby Clare?

I am playing with Scrapbookers-Anonymous
July Challenge is to create a layout using hard to use color or the color building up in your stash.
If you know me, RED is the color I rarely use, so I dig out a few red shades from my stash and come up with this layout

I wanted to use red for the edge punch as well but I flip the red/blue polka dots paper over and thought this blue makes the dots pop....

can't remember why Clare looked so upset that day when I took these pictures, this is so not Clare

Leaving for San Francisco tomorrow, I better go work on a few blog post and schedule it since I am not going to be around my computer for a few days.

Thanks for stopping by! : )

PTI Stamp-A-Faire Challenge #10

I don't usually have 2 posts in one single day but sometimes there is a little issue called "meeting deadlines" so I guess this would be my 2nd post today.

Layer a stamped images over a stamped background on one layer

background stamp - A Little Argyle + Love Lives Here (tiny flower stamp)

and I also used stamps from Butterfly Deams and Happy Trails

sentiment from Mat Stack 2 Collection
patterned paper is also one of my favorite from PTI - pretty pastels
and oh... the banner borders die is also PTI

so you can pretty much tell that I am a big fan of PTI!!!!

cameo DP and pink blooms are from Pixie June Kit "Summer of Love"

Pink Artisan Swirl Element is from Pixie May Kit "La Dolce Vita", I color it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam "Love Potion No. 9"

Label and lettering for title "NYC Subway" are from Pixie July Kit "Midsummer Night's Dream"
