Pretty background

After a week of fighting bad flu, I am finally feeling better... whew!

Well, despite my new teaching job at the Elementary School, I am back to spend a little time in my cozy (and messy) craft room, this time, I am using a pretty background from Iralamija, boy, you gotta love her stuff, so pretty.......

and great thing is, you can use this background again and again since it is a PDF file and print right from your printer

the girl image is from crafty secrets

thanks for stopping by!

LESSology challenge 10 ~ Floral Delight

Today's project is for

as you know for lessology, we recycle, upcycle, altered stuff that we already have, or not using, and turn it into something beautiful

Here's the wire hanger I used, we have a ton of them as my husband send his work clothes to the dry cleaner. And you see cloth left-over from previous project, you really don't need much

I bend the hanger to a heart shape since I am making a wall hanging for Valentine's Day, wrap strips of those rag around it, I love the frills that give its shabby look....

I pick up things I left in my "bits and pieces bowl", small pieces of sheet music paper to make those rolled flowers, bits of ribbons in the bowl from previous project

Tada.........

now you can hop over to LESSology to see what our DT had created for you this week
and our wonderful sponsor is

Summer Fun

I took this photo of Amelia playing with the water sprinkler outside Steve's (my brother-in-law) farm last summer, and I know Marilyn (my sister-in-law) would love this layout of her grand kid...

it is cool that I can even see the water against the dark background

I am linking this 8x8 layout to
