I am using the MOON image from The Graphic Fairy

Used quite a bit of my new PTI stamp set "Embellishment" here.
The glittered top right and left corner, the 2 corners for the moon image, and the bottom border too.

These purple shades Recollections flowers are my favorite, not only the colors, I used these a lot on my other projects too.

A New Journey ~ Project 365 ~ day 1

Through my dear friend Linda, I found this wonderful blog - Madeline Bea, Maegan had created this fun and meaningful project for people like me, who is interested in photography and need the discipline and commitment, to want to learn, to improve, and push oneself to another level.

The project is to take a picture with your camera, every single day, even on the busy days, or on the day that you don't feel pretty.
It is a community that we will support each other, encourage each other... here I come......

I started this project on August 30th, 2010 and will end August 29th, 2011

Project 365 ~ day 1 ~ a new journey

If you are regular here, you should all know that I love paper crafting, playing with papers and glue, glitters and stamps is my passion and also my dream, so I am starting off my first day with this alphabet stamp set I had. Enjoy the journey with me......

You are welcome to join Madeline Bea, click on the link HERE and it will take you there. The icon with the link can also be found at my side bar.

Another Template

Just a few days ago, I tried on my first template, and here's another one, I think I am liking it.

This is for the template challenge at Just Us Girls #48

I make a treat box for Halloween.

My favorite is the stamped and glittered center piece.

Back of the treat box

I have been busy and did not keep up with my "one card a day" plan. I love taking part in challenges simply because I think it pushes me to improve. Making a card based on a certain criteria allows me to get out of my comfort zone, trying new colors combination, making something new, I like challenging myself, and to make something better than the one I did before, this is how I see all these blog challenge.

Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for your lovely comments.

Wedding Favors

The Challenge at Wee Memories # 19 is "Sweet Treats with Ribbon on Top" is to incorporate any kind of sweet treat in the project, and ribbon too (optional).
I make a Wedding Favors "box" to enter the challenge

My sweet treat is the 3-tier wedding cake

I was going to use some pink M&Ms to filled up the box but someone filled it in their stomach before I could use it.  : (

This is the back of the box

Here's the link to Wee Memories, if you want to join in the fun.

CCCB week 19 ~ I See Stars

It is time for a new challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog again, this week challenge is hosted by June Lanum, June wants us to use "STAR/STARS" in our project, I had this stars DP for the longest time, finally I can use it.

The Martha Stewart doily was bought in San Diego while I had my vacation 2 weeks ago, can't you believe that I can't find this here in the Michael's near my place? The one I had here is kind of small, oh well, I should not complain, we do not have a Michael's in Manhattan until few months before we move to Vegas, I should be thankful for what I have and not complain for what I don't have (sounds familiar, I tell that to my kids all the time!!!)

Hop over to City Crafter and see what other DT had created for you!

3 hours card

Have you ever used 3 hours to just create a card? I did! And this is the result of that 3 hours...

Don't ask me why or how, it was just that much time to create this.

And I flip it...

More pictures....

See this rose, scroll down to find out where it came from

Here's the link to CPS (Card Positioning Systems) if you want to play along

When I came back from San Francisco late Sunday evening, there was a package waiting for me, it was from lovely Ros Crawford, what to see what she sent me?

A beautiful card (as usual), and a lovely decorated box in my favorite colors. How did she know that my favorite shade is purple?

And LOOK!

A box filled with her beautiful handmade roses.... isn't she sweet?

It also came with 2 easel from Ikea, how did she know that I love Ikea stuff?
I used to go to Ikea almost every morning when I was in Singapore, have coffee with my girlfriend Ann, and then browsed through the store.
We visited Ikea in New Jersey couple of time while we lived in Manhattan, but now, we do not have an Ikea in Vegas, so sad....

Ros is so sweet, she knew that Linda live in Vegas too, she made us these roses so we could use it when we get together for craft. And one of the easel is for Linda too. I brought some of these roses and the easel to Linda this morning, she is happy as can be, thanks Ros, for being so sweet!

Back to my little space!

Whew........ finally, back to my little space, back to creating....
Got home late last night, way past midnight, and woke up by the gardener from Moon Valley Nursery at 7.30 AM : (   they are here to filled up our bare backyard, so no sleeping in on a Saturday morning : (
Oh well, at least I get to craft this morning, here's what I come up with

And I think I can make it in time for COLOUR Q challenge # 46
Here's the inspiration photo from Colour Q

I started making this card on Tuesday morning, thinking that I can squeeze in a little time for the challenge, but fat hope, I need to pack my bag and run to the airport, and I can only complete the card this morning, so to say, this card took me more than 4 days to complete, LOL!

DP are from October Afternoon and The Girls' Paperie
Cardstock is from Bazzill Basics
Seam binding is my first try, hand-dyed at home
Stamps are from PTI
Flowers from recollections
Buttons are from PTI too

Good to be back here.... my husband is going to New York City next week and asked me to go along, I think I'd have to say NO this time, I hardly spend any time in my craft room this month, sorry dear!

I have one more thing to share, I received this award few days ago from lovely Elena, but was away from my desk and can't do anything till I come home.
