Our Beautiful World Week 8 ~ Birthday

is a place where you could share photographs taken by you from your part of the world

We have a new word prompt every Sunday

this week is chosen by Milagros

Birthday

my picture this week is the coconut cake I baked for my own birthday, LOL!
I didn't do much for photo editing this week but I went crazy with the drawing!

I discovered the fun of drawing with photoshop not long ago and LOVE it, my husband said that is my new-found toy as I could spent hours just sitting in front of the screen and draw, and draw, and draw....

besides the August flower I created earlier this month
I also have this one - Bunny Fashion

and this one - Green Field
(Inspired by the scenery on one of the train ride I had in Europe, the mountain in the picture is the Alps)

what do you think?

Do you draw with photoshop too?

Come share with us your photography or photo editing work at

First of all so sorry for being MIA for quite some time Kirsty, wasn't something I intended to, but it has been such a hectic time at work... Bad excuse, I know... Anyway, I'm glad to be able to visit again and I really love your latest creations, you have not only been active, but very creative, too! Lovely creations as usual! Take care, Ira x

i have done a little bit of drawing using photoshop but it's clumsy using a mouse. i do have a tablet but haven't had the time to hook it all up/install it yet.
do you do your drawing with a mouse or do you have a tablet that you use . . . i'd love to know more about it if you do.

your cake looks delicious and the cake stand is SO pretty~!!

Hello, what a gorgeous cake this is, mine is so plain next to yours. Love the drawing in photoshop you did, I don't have it but looks like I would like it.

Sorry to hear your daughter is away right now, how awesome she is. I missed my oldest when she left for college too, that feeling never goes away know matter how old they get. How do you get used to being apart when you've been with them their whole life, right. Sending you hugs and love to get thru the days till she's home again.

Well your cake looks absolutely scrumptious, I want a slice now!!!
I have never drawn on the computer but just this week I was doing a proposal for my DH and had to digitally sign a document using the mouse. I loved doing it and seeing my signature coming out for reals so I guess I /would fall into that addiction if given the chance...yours are so lovely!
