I loveeeeeeeeeeee books and loving the photos of yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a book lover, but I've boxed up a large portion of my bookshelf, keeping only the best. It has been difficult to give up some of those long adored books, but I'm in a de-clutter mode (which is taking forever, what does that say about me?!?). I'm going to try to snap some photos and put a post together to join the fun, get back in the saddle so to speak. Thanks for the inspiration, Kirsty.
You did some lovely decorating with the old books. I'm myself a booklover too and have quite a collection of very old, old and new books about gardens, gardening and plants. Have lots of favorites but one of my favorites is The Flowers and Gardens of Madeira by Ella du Cane and all time favorite literature book is Wuthering Heights of Emily Bronte.
Love that you use your books to decorate, I do too! Love books especially old ones :)
That's a lovely take on the theme,. And your spring display is gorgeous!
Super little pieces! Yes, I am a book lover for sure...but these days I don't get much time to read. But when I am on leave, I can go through quite a few books in a few days! ;-)
Love, love all your vintage books (and Dolce's)! I always love how the old books look mixed into decor. That's one of my favorite things to do with them. Used to read quite a bit, but haven't in a really long time. I tend to get too sucked in. ;)
the old books are looking great, so vintage!
Although I'm very much into technology, I just can't get into books on my iPad. There is just something special about the look, feel and smell of books that cannot be replicated with technology. I love vintage books too, and have a small collection of them. My favorite is a leather bound Episcopal prayer book and hymnal from the 1893 that was gifted to my father. Blessings!
