City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 299 ~ Negativity

I have to make a project for my Saturday scrapbooking class, and when Ros set the theme for City Crater Challenge Blog week 299, to used the negative of your dies, I immediately look into my "collection"

I don't throw away anything, when I cut out something, I do keep the negative or scraps knowing that someday they will be put to used

so the project I make for Saturday class is a gift pouch.....

we really had fun in the class....

I put together a collage of the projects from some of the kids in my class (they are actually teenagers, and you won't believe, some of them are actually big boys), the school is run by Buddhist Foundation in Las Vegas, the fees they collected mostly goes to the foundation, our job is kind of semi-volunteer, and we also do not have much to spend on materials, so besides the pattern paper pad, the rest of the materials used by the kids are actually scraps from my craft rooms....

of course we haven't stuff in the goodies and filler yet, but the project do have a punch hole on top, so when they kids get the gift in there, they could also filled up the bag with filler and then dress up with ribbon.

Alright, now it is turn to stop by

for more beautiful projects done by our Special Guest Star Andie Miller and the team!

I live the fuchsia pop of color! Anyone would be happy to receive a gift in this bag! I think your Saturday class is a very good place to use the leftovers from your crafting. They did such a pretty job! Thank you so much for letting me join the fun.

Awww, what a fabulous project, Kirsty! SO love that you made this with your class, and especially love that the boys liked to make the project, too! I absolutely adore what you did with the hexies on yours, and love the collage look with the other elements. The big bow and the vellum sentiment strip are fabulous. Love it all!

I really like the way you've used the hexagon negatives. They add a pop of both color and shape to your design. Hugs!
