City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 363 ~ Sunshine

Dolce and I went to NYC last week......

it was apartment searching all over again......

14 years ago, I moved from Singapore to NYC, in 8 years, we moved from one apartment to another several times. Now that Dolce received her master degree in business accounting and starting work in less than a month, I am back to NYC to help her search for apartment. It reminded me again, NYC is really really expensive, sigh.....

but I am sure fortunate to spent a small part of my life here in my beloved city.

Happy Birthday Marina!

Today we are celebrating Marina's birthday at City Crafter Challenge Blog.

Here's the birthday card I made for her.

please stop by Marina's blog to send her birthday wishes!

.........................................

Springtime in Paris

It is certainly magical to be in Paris in the Spring, the weather is still a little chilly most of the day, but we enjoyed every single moment when we were there.
This is my 3rd trip, unlike the first two, the security is tight everywhere, not just near The Eiffel, almost everywhere you'll have to go through bag check, how sad that the bad and evil are changing the way we live.  I feel extremely sad that this happened to one of my favorite city in the world. Sigh.....

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 360 ~ You can do it!

I lived in New York City for 8 years before I moved to Las Vegas, those are some of my happiest time in my life, this trip back to New York, I desperately want to remember and cling to every moment, memory, sound and smell of the city.

We were at central park one morning....

Springtime in Central Park is absolutely magical.....

we took a stroll at Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir....

entered from upper east side and exit upper west side to the apartment we used to lived.

Oh I just missed and loved those days.

...............................

The theme chosen by Stella is "You can do it"
Check out challenge details HERE!

I used ink pad and the sponging technique for the background...

I tried this many times but this one is my favorite, I think I finally mastered the sponging technique!
