I used it a lot when I have dinner party.

Happy Birthday my Clare Bear!

When Clare was young, I called her Clare Bear because those days, the Care Bears were very popular and we had so many of them, Care Bear, Clare Bear, so the name sticks to my little baby girl....

that was then.....

it was inspired by this card (next picture) created HERE by Kate at JustKateCrafting.

I wanted an adult coloring book for the longest time, but they never let you use coupon at Michael's for that,  I refused to get one there so I created my own with this Doodlie-Do stamp set from PTI. As you can see, the coloring still need practice, I like those with Copic Markers, and the one with watercoloring pencils didn't turn out so well.

 the scallop edges are from My Creative Time, is called Fun Stitched Edges

I added a lot of butterflies, those were nesting in my glass jar for the longest time.

 also lots of sequins from MFT Citrus Sequin Kit

To post a photo of yourself near age ONE! Here's little me!

since my mom is half a globe away from me, I can't go back and dig out my old photos, but she did give me a scrapbook of my childhood photos many many years ago, I am glad I brought it along with me when I moved to New York City 12 years ago. There is a baby photo in there, but the more I look, the more "she" looks like my sister, I thought my mom might have made a mistake and pasted my sister's photo in the scrapbook meant for me, well then the next one I can find is this, I don't think I was actually ONE in this photo but this is the closest I can get to a baby photo needed for this week.

LESSology Challenge # 22 ~ How Charming

to use charm on your project....

and my upcycle item is this wooden box from Ikea, it used to be the home of those cute little pegs

after a coat of acrylic paint, and the fun begins...

I used an old photo of me, my brother and grandma...

while I was digging through my stash to find things to recycle, I found this tiny key charm, can't even remember when I bought it from

a lot of beads and sequins are left overs from my crazy quilt project, everything is so tiny, it feels like playing doll house once again....

the tiny heart is a total accident.... it was a piece of a negative from my die cut, I tried to play with ink and Utee, and the result is awesome!

now here's another charm....

one more treasure to add.... I found a super old drawer with scrabble tiles at The Brooklyn Flea last year (oh ya, I supposed to post those picture, oh well), it cost me only 5 bucks
