PTI Make it Monday #210 ~ Using Vellum to Soften Patterns

The Challenge:

I dig out the old paper pad I had and haven't use for a long time and work with the fairly new PTI dies

after I painted the chipboard bird, I decided to give some polka dots using the following stamp set

this PTI stamp set is pretty old but I think I use it quite a lot

I only realized when I see this photo, that I should stamp on the sentiment as well since I have the matching stamp set still in it's case un-touch!

that's what happened when you shop too much

PTI April Blog Hop Challenge

I started playing poker 2 years ago, it was a new game for me and DH was my instructor, we play when we have time, when DH had a stressful work day or when I was feeling down, we played to take our mind off things because one have to be so focus when playing poker. When I first started, I can only play 45 minutes to an hour max, because I focus and think so much that after a while, my mind feels tired, it is kind of a good exercise for the brain I think, especially when I am getting older, I really want my mind to keep working.
Poker is like doing mathematics, calculating your odds and knowing the probabilities, but that is only one part, you also need to be observant, pay attention to other players, be aware of your table image etc. Yesterday, I won my very first poker tournament, YAY! It has 91 entries total, I am so proud of myself!

Ok, back to my card! Today's creation is for

Here's the inspiration photo

and here's my take......

I used the following PTI dies

the sentiment is from PTI stamp set too

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 258 ~ CCCB Anniversary CASE THREE

I have some much going on in my head and only realized I forgot to schedule my post in time!
We are celebrating 5th Anniversary of City Crafter Challenge Blog in the month of April, it is moving into week three where the DT cased Ros' card here.....

When I see this, I knew right away which stamp set I was going to use....

it is my New York City Scene stamp set!

living in NYC for 8 years, it is still magical to me, therefore, I decided to go with silver ink.

I throw in some heart confetti to make it a shaker card as well....

I think this is going to be for my DH come Valentine's day next year, LOL!

The lovely package this week is sponsored by Ros
