City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #359 ~ CASE 4

Hello my friends, we just got home from our NYC-Paris trip, I enjoy traveling but at the same time, I long to be home, especially missing Papi.
Here's a few picture I took in NYC....

On Thursday (April 13), I went to Brooklyn Botanic Garden while DH is at work, I can't believe this is the first time I go there for the fact that I actually lived in NYC for 8 years.

It is Springtime in New York, the cherry blossom though not in full bloom but it is pretty close

One of the item on my bucket list is to go to Japan during April to see cherry blossom, I guess Brooklyn Botanic Garden is pretty good for now!

If you are following City Crafter Challenge Blog, you probably know that we are celebrating our 7th Birthday in April, this week is our final week of CASE ME IF YOU CAN.

Here is a card from Marina for you to CASE

and here is my take....

I hope you could play along with us, we have a prize package sponsored by Marina this week.

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #356 ~ CASE 1

I started City Crafter Challenge Blog 7 years ago, can you imaging? Wow, 7! CCCB is 7 this year.
To celebrate our birthday, we are doing the CCCB tradition birthday challenge CASE ME IF YOU CAN!
This week is a card from me.

CASE ME IF YOU CAN!!!!

You can use the sketch, the colors, or pick up any elements and then make a card that is entirely yours, just remember to tell us what inspired your creation.

Of course I have to CASE my own....

I am doing the same background with a different colors combination this time, and I change the focus point from a scribble flower to a butterfly.

Since it is our birthday celebration, we do offered a prize package this week!

Play along with us if you want to win this, we will pick a winner that link up their project as well as leaving comments at the following blogs.

Garden Notes and a New Card

Surprise! I have a new card this week, LOL!
I know, I haven't been in the craft room much other than my DT duty.

I thought I would link this up with Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge

Products used in this project includes, PapertreyInk, My favorite thing and Creative Time for Me.

and now the garden notes....

back in October when we repaint our patio, the handy man throw out a few pieces of wood from the old patio that cannot be reused, I picked them up and make a little stand for vegetable garden, however, I didn't have much success besides scallions.

I tried growing lemon from seeds, but everytime when it come to this stage....

it dies....
this photo was the first batch, and then the second batch grow a little bigger than the ones in the photo, but die after I transplant them to a bigger pot, maybe I just do not have green thumb, does anyone have tips to share?

probably I should just do the easy stuff and not try to grow vegetable from seeds, like putting this bottom part of the celery after we ate what we want into the soil....

and it just grow like crazy

we cut a few off each time when we need some and it just keep growing.
Well, I would still love to learn how to grow my own vegetable from seeds, please share with me if you have any tips or advice for me, thanks and have a wonderful weekend!
