I had some irregular lines stitched on the diecut felt

and that little image is a little kitty in a sewing basket..

Project Christmas 2011 ~ card 4

Clare was only 11 when we build out very first snowman in our life

That was in Central Park, New York City

Alright, I need to go back to bed, still can't get rid of my flu bug, bad throat and headache.

My Other Love

Paper crafting is my favorite hobby, but I do have other love.... such as photography

Scrap-it-lah January Challenge wants you to make a layout about your other hobby besides paper crafting, here's my take

I love playing with my camera...... I take picture of flowers, to birds, to garbages left under the bench at the airport...... LOL!

Just for you

This is the card I made after many days of no crafting, it seems like I've lost my Mojo.

Still not well, with a bad cough and headache, my house guest was out this morning, so I steal some time to go into my little craft room again

This one was based on the theme set by
Reasonable Ribbon





challenge # 16 is a HEART theme
as long it has hearts and ribbon, it qualifies





I had my very first try on Crackle Paint on the wings, but obviously it is a failure as the wings did not crack but burn, LOL!





but I do LOVE these items Pixie Lauren included in the January Kit
- chipboard heart and wings
- Crinkled Ribbon - cotton ball
- metal rose brads
they just look great in anything, aren't they?

Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge #30

When I saw these NEW paper pad at Michael's, I simply cannot resist but want to have every single piece of this new collection of K & Company

The sketch this week at Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge is one that when I saw it, I knew I MUST play along.

But I would say, the result again something I am not happy about, and yet I cannot tell what's wrong with this card

Anyway, I did have fun playing with the sketch, just that I am not happy with what I come up with, if I have time, I really would make another one as I love this sketch a lot, but today is the last day, I was struggling if I should post it.....
and I did, so you crafty friends out there give me some tips!

As you all know, I am not very good with the color RED, using a kit makes the job easy for me

I used 2 different chipboard letters from Maya Road

The word "happy" is Noah Chipboard from Pixie October Kit

"Noah" is on sale at the Pixie Shop now

the word "canal" is another chipboard letters "Caroline"

It is included in Pixie January Kit

my husband likes to call this photo "happy canal"

It was taken in Venice, Italy 2008

Pixie Dust Paperie January Kit ~ Salzburg

My second project for Pixie Dust Paperie January Kit

"MY FUNKY VALENTINE" 

is the altered photo frame

one I brought from Target to display the photo I took in Salzburg, Austria in 2008

The metal rose brads and rose ribbon in this kit are something I have been eyeing for a long time, Thanks to Pixie Lauren who includes these items from in the kit

Salzburg is the birth place for Mozart, a visit to the Mozart Museum is a MUST on this trip
