A new challenge at LESSology starts now!!!

LESSology Challenge # 8 - Frame of Life

decorate an old frame or fashion one out of cardboard.... we want to see your frames! 

Here's my DT project for this challenge

an old frame I pick up from thrift store for a dollar, since it doesn't have glass, I glue a few pieces of wooden stick I bought from Michael's

spray it with white paint....

and then I added a little crackle paint for that shabby look... love it!

those little banner pennants are bits and pieces of scraps on my craft table..

My project for this challenge -

I started out with a notebook I don't need from Michael's long time ago, I just have that weakness with stationary, are you the same way?

I forgot to take photo of the front, but it looks just like this without the label

and I am doing something called the GLUEBOOK

There is an amazing blog that you need to check it out, Mary Green at Green Paper not only provide tutorial on how to make a vintage gluebook, she also has a lot of free vintage images for you to use, isn't that wonderful?

and I remember her saying somewhere on her blog, that when we die, we can't take anything with us, so why not we "preserved" these lovely vintage images we reluctant to use in a beautiful way

here's the inside.....

this book is going to be my MOOD BOARD

a place where I would like to experiment with colors..... and my ups and downs mood, LOL!

this cute little girl image is from Green Paper, Mary Green also has an online shop that sell beautiful vintage images and she has online classes if you are interested too.

Vintage Christmas Tag

Hey I am back here where I am supposed to be in LA seeing my Clare.

We went to San Diego on Friday and after my dinner at a Thai place, I got sick and we had to stay for a night and then drive home the next morning... yikes!

Anyway, I am fine now and since husband had to drive back up to LA for work, I have my sunday open for crafting...... yay!!
