Carnival tickets and letters for the title too are from "My Funky Valentine"

Pixie Dust Paperie ~ Coronado Island layout

I'll be in LA when you are reading this, I have my blog all loaded up with stuff and scheduled till next week, LOL! You won't miss me! And I will visit you when I get back, it is always hard to blog when I am away from my Mac!

perhaps you've never scrapped with a KIT before, this is a PERFECT time to try out

Springtime Pixie is loaded with lots of beautiful, magical stuff......

you'll find a mixture of products from different manufacturer in Springtime Pixie, like Graphic 45, American Crafts, October Afternoon..... but they all go so well together, this is one PLUS about using a kit, the coordinating job is all done for you, all you need is to create!

not just paper, beautiful trims, Pixie signature crinkled ribbon, there is just so much goodies to play with...

This is the picture we took at Coronado Island, San Diego summer 2010, we both love Coronado Island, it was top on our list when we decided to move out of New York City last year. But somehow, we ended in Las Vegas, and we are loving it here too.

City Crafter Challenge Blog ~ Week 43 All that glitters.....

This week at City Crafter is a tough one for me, LOL!

Ros wants us to use GOLD and SILVER on our project, boy oh boy, I don't think I have anything done in these colors.... oh well, I love to be challenged, that is one way I push myself out of my comfort zone, no more purple, lilac and pink on this one!!!!!!

Since it is Chinese New Year (The Lunar New Year is 15 days long), I decided to make a Chinese New Year card for next year, LOL!

Chinese New Year is all about RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GOLD.... all the "lucky colors" according to the Chinese.

these gold embossing power leaves my face all glittered....

In the Chinese custom, parents give this little packet to their children on New Year's Eve, it contains $$$$, it symbolized all things good - good health, luck, fortune etc...

Children received from elderly these little packet too, as long as you are not married, even you are 59, you'll still get these little red packet with money from your parents, your grandparents, your aunts and uncles etc....
