Project Life 2015 ~ December 9

Project Life 2015

December 9

I checked the weather forecast last night, it said rain on Thursday, since we will be leaving San Francisco on Friday, today is the only day to do if we want to go to Muir Woods.
Early this morning, we took the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf to look for the City Sightseeing, they do a Muir Woods/Sausalito Tour, I did it once with my aunt way back in 2012.

My sister is selfie queen, she even took selfie while waiting for cable car : 0

Well, how often you hear people complain that weather forecasts are never accurate.
We  found City Sightseeing office, bought the tour bus tickets and then waited for the bus to come pick us at 9AM, the sky starting to get dark and it started to drizzled.

the bus was pretty empty, just 4 of us and another couple from Brazil, the driver let us stop at Golden Gate Bridge for just a few minutes, Mom and sister got off the bus for pictures.

Guess the bus drive needs his cuppa, he didn't take us to Muir Woods first, instead, he stopped by Sausalito for coffee, we were told that it is the best coffee in the world, so we got some for ourselves, but nah......

the rain got even heavier when we reached Muir Woods, the first thing we do is to go to the gift shop to get a few ponchos. Sis is so vein, she rather walked in the rain then wearing the ugly poncho.

I love Muir Woods, the rain didn't take away one once of the fun from us.

before we leave Muir Woods, I got to get the famous grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup for Jesse, I don't eat cheese and don't like tomato soup, but I heard that they are super good (recommended by Food Network)

Next stop - Sausalito

I insisted a good meal when we were at Sausalitot, Scoma's Cioppino

by this time, my summer shoes are all soaking wet

but we did have a lot a lot of laughter from a piece of red leaf.

the tour bus took us back to Fisherman's Wharf, I just have to take mom and sis to Ghirardelli Square for some chocolate. Sister stopped by Lori's diner for picture.

Mom and Jesse went back to hotel for the night, Sis and I changed and go shopping at Union Square again, we saw this and  had to snapped a picture, Singapore flag hanging at Union Square.

Thanks for stopping by.....

Your PL is amazing; I believe you and your sister are opposites:) A good bond but very different personalities!

Such wonderful pictures, Kirsty. I particularly enjoy what a "ham" your sister is. Lovely that you capture this in your Project Life layouts.
