December Daily 2013 ~ December 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 (all done!)

First of all, I would like to say THANK YOU to all who give me some advice on my blog problem posted yesterday, I am now able to post a comment on my friend's blog (typepad), thank you friends!!!!!

.................................

This is my last post for December Daily 2013, I am all done, YAY!!!

December 21

Today is family time, we play and took lots of photos.

December 22

We make Papi post and took a lot of photo and realized only from those photo that someone needs a hair cut badly, LOL!

December 23

We did a lot of Christmas shopping and stock up the fridge for the holidays

Make a new ribbon for Papi, now he looks like my little elf

December 24

Our Christmas dinner is always very simple, we baked a chicken this year instead of pork roast, and I also make a sweet potato casserole.

I make a double page for Christmas eve

the best part of the evening is to see Papi open his christmas present, we had lots of fun

December 25

Clare make pancake for the family on christmas morning

it was yummy

this is Papi's first christmas, this little guy truly bring lots of joy into our life

I think Papi really loves his christmas present

I am finally done with my December Daily, thanks to

for taking me through this journey

what do I learn?

I am not a very fast scrapper and do not have a lot of time to spend in my craft room on a daily basis, by December 8, I finally realized that I need to find a better way that suits me so I won't have to play catch up with this project, by using the a collection of paper makes a lot of different for me since choosing paper like I always do for a page is very time consuming.

In the beginning of December, I wasn't in the most pretty mood, the December Daily project make me keep a journal of my emotion on a daily basis, I realized I cannot be complaining and venting everyday, it makes me think, what can I do to make me feel better, so I decided to focus on gratitude and jot down happy thoughts instead of the negatives.

I'm so glad you tackled this project, Kirsty! I know it is a lot of work....work that I've always been afraid to take on myself. But what a gorgeous album you have ended up with, and more importantly, this process seems to have greatly lifted your spirits at a time when they were down. I love your album! I think your tip of sticking to one collection is a good one as I know it must save a ton of time. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to give this a try. :)

WAY TO GO!! I'm so glad you did this album and kept up till it was done!! How cute to see the new family member on almost all your pages this month. It's so fun to have a new furry friend in the house and to celebrate with.

Great idea to know what will help you next year with your album. It does help to use the same paper line so it all goes together and just having a few things done ahead of time. I think you did great though.
Had no idea you consider yourself a slow scrapper. I'm amazed at all you get done for your challenges and sharing them.

Beautiful pages!!!

What a beautiful finish! I'm much the same- paper packs help me stay focused on creating rather than agonizing over the papers. Love the self reflection.
