Project Life 2014 ~ November 1 to 9

Project Life 2014

Some time ago, I won a big box of goodies from a giveaway at Audrey's blog, thank you Audrey.
And I am going to use this for my November's spread

November 2
We bought a new crock pot and I try the slow cooker with my new recipe Carne Guisada, inspired by a dish we had recently at Javier's at The Aria, I googled a few recipes and then make a short rib stew according to our taste and liking, it was GOOD!

November 7
We head off to Zion National Park with Papi. He is pro traveler now, he sits on my lap most of the time, when he gets tired, he just sleep by my feet.

we can't stay at our usual hotel by the stream because it is not a pet friendly hotel, so we stayed at Pioneer Lodge on main street.

we took a walk on Main Street before sunset

November 8
We took Papi for a morning walk at Marj Bonner Nature Trail, which is a dog park

he sure is happy, sniff here, sniff there and got his face so full of dirt and sand

we had the group BBQ by the stream in the afternoon, Papi is such a good boy, he just mind his own business and once in a while, he would come to me for a hug

how perfect is my little boy, we leave him in the hotel room when we went out for dinner or play cards with friends, we take him along whenever we can, and he never make any trouble, whether in the hotel room or outside, he is just a perfect little dog, we are so lucky to have him.

November 9
After the BBQ yesterday, we drove to Grand Junction, CO. We visited Randy's daughter Sarah and grandson Charlie, spent some time with them and then drive home.

I once had a wonderful little dog - in fact, a girl. Unfortunately already gone, but she was such a sweet long-haired dogs. Reading your story again, I see her next to me. Now I have two cats:-)
