Project Christmas 2011 ~ card 12

Usually my blog post is at least 24 hours apart, but today is exceptional, I am running late and I have lots of posts waiting in line.........

Here's my card # 12 for Jingle Belles based on this sketch by Allison Fillo

here's my take......

everything I used to make this card is from my Pixie Kits

background paper - Pixie February Kit
and the rest of the trims (scallop paper and tinsel) at the bottom and the side, LOL..... they are actually scraps that I keep along the way while I make those projects for the Pixie Kits, you see here "left-overs" stuff from October Kit and November Kit

see that pixie? she is from Pixie February Kit "Springtime Pixie" too!

I never throw any paper away even it is only 1 inch square, 'cos you'll never know when you need that tiny bit to make a rolled-flower.

ok, I am going to stop right here, internet connection is dead slow tonight, it took me 40 minutes to upload these pictures, usually is like 3 seconds. I am going to bed now!

How very sweet, Kirsty. I too save every little, bitty piece of paper. Seems you always need them later on for something... like the rolled flowers. Yours are lovely and of course, so is the fairy... can't get enough of them (I'm still "in love" with that Springtime Pixie Kit). Looking forward to what's in store for April!
Have a Happy Day!

oh wow! it's like a PIXIE-mega-card!!! that really MIGHT be my favorite PDP quality...the fact that every single item goes with EVERYTHING ELSE! i mean, what a way to build your stash, right?! (sorry...commercial over, lol!)

but what a ♥FABULOUS♥ fun card...brilliant version of allison's sketchy...totally appealing, fun, feminine, beautiful, etc. so what i've basically just said is: it's a KIRSTY CARD!!! ♥

A non traditional Christmas card; love the addition of a fairy instead of an angel:).....

This is a gorgeous card, I love the papers you've chosen and the embellishments. Everything came together so well for this and it is going to make its recipient beam. I am behind on the JB challenges and I want to catch up on them, I get inspired when I see what everyone creates!
