Project Christmas 2011 ~ card 11

Hey crafters, hop over to Jingle Belles NOW!!!
They have the most beautiful color palette this week

suggested by Leslie - The Crooked Stamper, aren't those colors soft and pretty?

Here's my card.....

Simply huh?

I am thinking a lot about putting them in the envelope end of this year when it is time to send these holiday cards, so I am keeping it as "flat" as possible...

Thanks for visiting my blog today! : )

DID YOU SEW ALL THOSE PIECES TOGETHER?!?! Color me impressed. I love the idea of a strip of blue and white on the Kraft card base. Very simple (well, except for all the sewing. Love it!

Thanks for playing!

Love how the embossing and stitching adds such visual interest without adding bulk ... certainly a design that could be multi-produced ... thanks so much for joining our jingle belles fun.

I love the stitched, quilted look on your card. It is smart to think ahead and make the cards post office friendly. Beautiful take on the challenge.

What a fabulous "non-traditional" card you've made with this non-traditional palette! Perfect! And you're right about the flatness issue - perhaps I should pay more attention to that...
