Death Valley and City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 436 ~ Zig-a-Zag-ah

I went to Death Valley National Park over the weekend.....

it is the biggest National Park on the lower 48 states of America...

just look at the rock formation, no wonder Star Wars movies staged here...

although its already end of October, but it was still hot after 10 AM

Badwater basin is pretty cool though, it is 282 below sea level, one of the lowest spot in the world

one of my favorite hike is Natural Bridge Canyon, not only it was partly shaded, the view was amazing....

here's another one of my favorite - Artists Palette, pretty cool huh?

now back to this week's card for City Crafter Challenge Blog

The theme is Zig-a-Zag-ah.....

I am not the most patient, and really having problem lining up these cross-stitches pumpkin...

they are too difficult for me, LOL! I started with the stitched peonies and finally gave up, the stitched peonies stamp set is now on sale on my Crafty Stuff for Sale Page, if you are interested to pick it up, hop over there now, I tried on the petals and it doesn't work for me so the rest of the stamp in that set was totally new.

Gorgeous photo's Kirsty. I had to go and look up that Timbisha Shoshone tribe...it sounds so African. Awesome that there is still a native Indian tribe there.
Loving the card...the dotty background and the white face is striking! ;-)

Wow! What an amazing place! TFS! I love your card Kirsty... Really pretty and beautifully done. I get so mad when I can't line up stamps... They are expensive and then just get pushed aside.
Happy Halloween! Have a great evening!

At first I thought you actually stitched the pumpkin--love it! I don't have a lot of patience when I'm stamping either--think I need to stay away from layering sets for the most part. Boy do you get around, Kirsty! So fun seeing your Death Valley pictures!

We went to Death Valley a couple of years ago. It's like a whole other world. the car was reading the temp at 121. That's hot! Your card is really sweet. I like the use of the cross stitch pattern to form the image. I have trouble with things from time to time too. Just do what makes you happy.

Love, love, love your card, Kirsty! Such an adorable pumpkin, and those polka dots are so bright and happy.
Looks like an amazing trip to Death Valley! I really enjoyed seeing your pictures. I drove through it with my parents when I was quite young, but have never really experienced it, so it was fun to see. <3
