Project Life 2015 ~ October 1 to 4

Project Life 2015

October 3
Clare and Jared came home with their friend Catherine, it seems like our "tradition" when the Clare is back home is to go to Korean BBQ, she just loves it. We did try a new place this time.

I have to admit I didn't keep my promise, when I started project life this year, I tell myself not to buy any NEW stuff because I have boxes and boxes of journaling cards, sorry..... I did, this October, new journaling goodies I am using.

after dinner, we went to the strip for a walk.....
to see the wonderful Bellagio musical fountain

I have to say, looking back at this photo of Paris hotel makes me sad....

Still thinking of you Dear Paris! (big sigh.......)

and then we took the kids to Serendipity for their famous frozen hot chocolate

October 4
I make french toast and corn muffins for breakfast.

In the afternoon, we decided to go for a picnic at Bonny Spring Park, the plan was to go get two rotisserie chickens and a few sides, but the plan didn't carry out well, the store was out of chicken and we drive to Pollo Loco to get few boxes of chicken, by then, the sky got really dark and I am afraid we are running out of day light, so instead of going to Bonny Spring, which we are not familiar and further away, we stop at Red Rock Canyon instead.

although it was windy, cold and even drizzle a little, it didn't spoilt the fun

I brought along my corn muffins for dessert

it was cold so everybody is fighting for that fur coat

it turn out to be a perfect picnic after all

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect

It means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections....

the kids like goofing around and take funny selfies

well, since this post is picture heavy, I better post the rest of October another day!

Thanks for sticking around!

Hi Kirsty, soooo happy seeing your PL pages here, thank you for posting them!! How sweet it is seeing these of family photos and precious memoires having fun and going places together. Your new PL kit is lovely!! I need to buy a new kit, tired of the same ones I used all year. Sometimes it helps to add a new kit, for next year I'm going to buy a couple small kits to mix it up. I'm running out of room for my big kits and the big albums, so going small next year will be so helpful.
I just finished up some pages in mine for November, YAY, all I need is the Thanksgiving ones from yesterday and any from this weekend and I will have that month done, thank goodness.
GOOD JOB still on keeping up on yours!!
