City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 254 ~ Go Ombre

This week at

Ros said "Go Ombre"

I made a tag using various ink pad....

and then start adding layers, and only realized later that I have most of my tag covered, so you don't really get to see the lighter part of the pink shads, dumb me!

I hope you stop by

where our special guest star Darnell and the team shared their beautiful work with you.

........................

On the personal side, my heart is tearing as we (Singaporean) had lost our founding father, a great man who build this little red dot with no natural resources (we don't even have water) from a 3rd world country to 1st world in my life time. I remembered using the out house at my grandma's house when I was young, and today, Singapore's GDP per capita ranked third in the world. Even living in the US for nearly 13 years, I refused to give up my Singapore citizenship and sent both my girls home to claimed theirs despite that they spent their childhood here, I am proud to be a Singaporean. If you asked anyone from Singapore, we are not Chinese Singaporean, Malay Singaporean or Indian Singaporean, we are SINGAPOREAN. just because of one great man, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, rest in peace, Father Lee!

The whole country will be mourning for a week, so am I.

Your card is lovely; your tag has a beautiful variety of shades and I love the white flower and leafs. Did I recognise the PTI songbird leaf die? :)

Beautiful ombre to go with your beautiful tribute. As Father Lee said, he gave his life. What better thing than for a man top five hours life in service to another. May God bless his family during their time of grief.
