City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 187 ~ Snow White

Thank you all for your kind words, I do feel better now!

It's Tuesday, and hello to our new challenge at

This week is hosted by sweet Wendy.

Snow White

is the theme

Create a project with mainly the color white, or off white.

Here's mine

I did a heat embossing with my woodgrain stamp on white cardstock for the background, you probably can't see it from the photo but I do like that the background has little bit of texture instead of just smooth white cardstock.

I just finished my box of yummy cookies I bought from Japan and the packaging material is perfect for this card too.

one oversized beaded button that I hoard for the longest time

add a diecut "birthday" word and embellishments, done!

Come play along with us

We have Lisette as our special guest star this week, hop right over now!

So, so pretty Kirsty. Love the hints of colour coming through from the background and so happy to see your little bird making an appearance.

Hello my friend.. I have been missing your blog. So sorry I have been away so long.. I did a little stool back to see what I missed. Your work is amazing. And I just LOVE this card. Your rocked this challenge. So pretty. I still need to put a post together. But we are off again in a little bit. Been out and about so there has been no time to be on my computer. The weather has been so beautiful so we want to take it all in before the rain hits..

Hope I won't be gone so long again.

Hugs~

My gosh, this is sooo beautiful! I love, love, love all the crisp whites and you are a true master at creating interest in a monochrome design through texture. The bellum butterfly is stunning. Loving your big old button and the bits of trim and die cuts. The recycled packaging adds a fabulous finishing touch!
