Christmas in July

It is 112 degrees today in Las Vegas, I just need to find a place where it is just 84, so I am going to LA  to enjoy the cool temperature, ahhhhh......

OOPS!!!!!!

edit: my husband decided to drive instead, so he called to cancel our flight to LA 90 minutes before take off, we then drove 20 miles and ..............
tire burst on highway 15, 8 miles before we reach the next town Jean, we called for Benz road side assistance, it took them 10 minutes to get back to us and 100 more minutes for the technician to come help us, my husband decided to do it himself under the heat, and 20 minutes later, we are back on the road again, only this time is towards Vegas. Back to Benz service center and they can't do anything for us today, so here I am, back in my room in Las Vegas.

to bring the temperature down, I am sharing a Christmas card in July

and this is going to enter the challenge at

"Christmas in July"

Oh Kirsty, what a shame your travelling plans didn't work out like they should have. If you need a place to cool down, you should come to the Netherlands, we still put the heating on in the evenings! Your Christmas card looks so cool with all these shapes!!
