HELP!!!!!

I do have a question for my crafty friends out there

I just bought an impression plate from Papertrey Ink, but it didn't come out nicely when I use it with my die cut machine "Cuttlebug", I have been googling and also searching on the PTI site and blogs, but there just isn't enough information on how to use that on a cuttlebug (A lot of the designers from PTI use the impression plate with the big slot), if you have an answer for me, I would love to know, thanks!!!

I am sharing a few books I found at the Thrift store 

I couldn't be more excited when I saw this Santa picture in the book, I remember this past Christmas, there were lots of christmas theme patterned paper around with this image, how cool to see one in the old book

my favorite is actually this book about friendship, there are lots of quote in the book that I love, I am still thinking what am I going to do with this book, maybe I can do a quote book for a friend? We'll see!

Royal Colors.....

Over at UK, everyone is celebrating the Queen's Jubilee

A Passion for Papertrey come up with the Royal Colors challenge

since UK and the US colors are pretty similar, I am making a card using Red, White and Blue, just in time for 4th of July, at the same time, it would be good to send to my friend in the UK, and I make it a birthday card instead, so it can be really versatile.
