LESSology challenge 14 ~ Birds of a Feather

Today's project is for 


create a project featuring bird or birdcage


I found this vintage wooden caddie at the thrift store for 50 cents, can't you believe it?


I start layering it with lovely birdie stuff.....





and then filled it up with more lovely birdie stuff....



like .......


a set of birdie cards.....




yummy birdie candies....


and a handmade birdie princess pin cushion


a princess birdie should have a crown right?


this birdie caddie is a birthday gift for a girl friend...



I hope she enjoy her birthday present

Kirsty you are so creative and you seem to be able to look at an object and see it's transformation into something beautiful before you buy it. One thing is certain, this was certainly transformed that way. Love it!

OMGosh, how I LOVE your birdie gift tote, Kirsty! Cannot believe you found that awesome tote for only 50 cents. Love how you dressed up the front. Placing the die cut bird next to the nest on the postcard was genius. Love your notecard set and candy bottle, and LOVE that pincushion. This is amazing!

I just love the way how you turn a simple caddy in a precious keepsake. That birdie pincushion is to die for. ( In fact everything:)...) Made me think of the rolling pin that I cherish.
