It is always sad to make a card like this one.....
but this is life..... sometimes we just had to say goodbye to our furry friends......
I made this for a blog friend sometime ago, with this stamp set from Newton's Nook.
I did a few scored-line above that only can be seen in this angle.
.......................
The weather is getting nicer, in the 60s..... we have a little orchard in our backyard......
put in 6 fruit trees........
and I saw flowers on them this week.......
I wonder if we are going to have fruit this year?????? Anyone gardener here knows the answer?
Thanks for stopping by......

Never easy to make a card like that ... but I know the recipient appreciated it! It is beautiful and very thoughtful! And loving the photos!!! The flowers on your trees are beautiful!! And not a gardener, so I don't know your answer ... sorry! :)
Aww! How sad... I never got over losing my dogs... Still makes me cry. I'm sure your friend really appreciated your beautiful card Kirsty. And your yard is going to be fabulous when those trees take off and grow. It's crazy weather here too.
Such a sweet sympathy card with just the right amount of everything, Kirsty! How wonderful to see blossoms! Sorry, I don't have a green thumb to answer your question.
Wonderful card design and pictures Kirsty.
Hugs Diane
Oh, I recognize that card. And, I thank you again for the very thoughtful sweet card, Kirsty! Our sweet Shadow remains in our hearts with wonderful memories. Our new dog, Sheila, is making sweet memories with us, too! Your fruit trees are very lovely! Not sure if your fruit trees will bear fruit this year or if they take a couple years. I don't know too much about fruit trees. Signs of spring are slowly beginning here with green grass trying to peek through. I'm hoping for an early spring!
Sad to make this card but it will be appreciated. The score lines are the perfect detail! Love your fruit trees! How exciting!
Super sweet card & love the scored lines! I know it was appreciated by Maria, Kirsty. Fun to see flowers on your new trees, but I have no idea how long it takes to get fruit. At least the snow is gone!
I'm sorry your friend lost her beloved pet, but I'm sure your beautiful card brought her comfort, Kirsty. I love the color of that paper and the subtle score lines. And how fun that you are going to have your own orchard on your property?! I've heard it can take a couple years for some fruit trees to bear viable fruit, but I don't know which kind that applies to. I'll bet folks in your neighborhood will know! Hugs, Darnell
