PTI Make it Monday #265 ~ Layered Dry Brushing

The Challenge:

PTI Make it Monday #265 ~ Layered Dry Brushing

As soon as I play with the brush for this project, I immediately love it, didn't know is that fun.... I really should do it more.

I am not totally with my dry brushing background, I should have use a lighter stroke as described by Lizzie, like feather..... oh well, I will try it again soon.

The focusing die is PTI Quilted Winter Die and the star in the middle is Joyful Christmas Die

the sentiment "Season's Greeting" is also from PTI Joyful Christmas Stamp Set....

this time of the year, I tried to make holiday cards in set, that way I'd accumulate enough cards for year end....

I watched that MIM video too and I love your take on it. Maybe not a "feather" brushstroke as shown in the video but definitely gorgeous. A lovely set of cards!

I think your backgrounds turned out perfectly! I'm sure that there's a technique you can improve, but I can't imagine improving this card set. A very different kind of Christmas card, but very lovely.

I know Lizzie's was lighter, but I absolutely LOVE the effect you achieved here, Kirsty! Wonderful choice of colors & love the die cut--fabulous cards!
