City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 329 ~ Photo Inspiration Challenge by Kirsty

This week at...

I found this online as our inspiration photo for the challenge....

The yellow and flowers inspired me to choose the little floral print paper for my project...

and because fall is almost here, I think the harvest mouse would be fun.....

Things at home is getting better so is my mood.... we finally decide that I need to go back to the ocean, even for a while, my teaching schedule is just getting harder and harder for me to go back to Long Branch, NJ for a month or two, it was on the list of "things to do in 2015", we didn't make it and it is impossible this year as well since taking off from work is hard and summer is just too expensive at the Jersey Shores, to fix that, we decided to do a short trip to Oceano, CA, by the Pacific Ocean, the trip will be just a 6 hours drive, we are staying for 5 days, that makes it all possible for me to go away before all my classes starts in school in October, I just need to take a few days off from my private teaching classes, so YES!!! I am going back to the Ocean, this September. The Mermaid in me is HAPPY!

Dolce and Coconut went back to NYC for school few days ago.....

I miss both of them so much...... Alfie is slowly adjusting the life in NYC, the noise, the siren, the underground.... Dolce takes him everywhere she goes.

this one at home also need some adjustment, sad to say, the new puppy plus issue with Lila (Clare's dog) at home trigger some aggressive behaviour in Papi, he started barking at other dogs when we go for walks, and he even nip at one of the dog at the dog park the other day, we had to take him out and it was very embarrassing, he had become the dog we used to hate at the dog park, so sad..... where is my sweet little boy?

Movie Night

JASONBOURNE

It has been a while since our last movie, DH sure likes this more than me.

Alright, done with my update, thanks for letting me share, I hope you could play along with us at City Crafter Challenge Blog.

Your card is super cute, I love that mouse image, he is adorable! Sorry to hear about your dog troubles, I'm a dog owner too and know that sometimes it can feel quite embarrassing when things don't go as you would want them to go... My dog has been stressed sometimes and it has helped for a while just to simply avoid situations that cause more stress (and cause misbehaving) and to make a lot of calming stuff and stuff that the dog enjoys. Write an email to me if you want to chat about dog things, I'm always up for discussing dog issues since I've had to work a lot with my pup! :) Thanks for having me as GD at City crafter this week!

Oh my goodness, Kirsty! I love your photos so much! And the inspiration photo for the challenge is amazing. Your card is a perfect representation of the photo! It's absolutely beautiful!!! (I know your sweet Papi's behavior is understandable and I hope he will be back to his old self soon!)

Awww, I'm so happy you get to escape to the ocean for a few days! There's nothing like the sights and sounds of the beach to lift your spirits. I'm heading there myself at the end of next week for a long weekend, and I can't wait. Glad things are getting better at home, even though I know you miss Dolce and the pup. Back to school time is always a bit hard. LOVE your card! Such sweet paper and I adore that mouse! Fabulous paper piecing! Just makes me grin from ear to ear.

Your little mouse man is so cute, especially with the fall colored paper piecing. Adorable card, Kirsty. It is hard to believe the stories about Papi given the pictures. He's a charmer, but I do know that spending time with other dogs can create changes. I'll hope he returns to his charming self!

Your little mouse is adorable and perfect for this theme. Good to hear you decided to spend some time away from all the hustle and bustle. We all need quality time and time to relax. We also went to see |Jason Bourne :)
Take care...

Love the use of patterns here - it's cute and trans-seasonal.
