Ordinary Silence

{Photos taken at Muir Wood National Monument, December 2015}

It's been almost a week into the new year, life is back to normal schedule, I am back to school teaching, cook only lunch and sometime mom helps, we go out for dinner most of the time, I got back to my craft room this week but mainly catching up with DT's duty.
It has been cold here in Vegas, this winter seems too long.....
I still have lots of catch up in the craft room, especially project life...... blog a little less than usual, that is what I am aiming for this year, so I could do more things besides sitting in front of the computer. A few times when I see the usual challenges I took part regularly, I have the urge of running to my craft room, but I though, I should just give myself a break, at least until I tidy up my craft room, garage and kitchen....... or at least done catching up with PL!
So..... here you go, not project but a few photos to share, thanks for stopping by.

Good luck with your tidying and cleaning up...I always find that helps before creating....a clean slate and working space! ;-)

Beautiful photos Kirsty ... They remind me of when I would go walking with my dog... the peacefulness and the raindrops pitter pattering... wonderful moments

Your photography is beautiful! I almost feel like I went for a walk in the woods with you. Perfect for this cold and rainy midwest day!

Kirsty take the time and do what feels best for you. Your photos are gorgeous; so peaceful and I love the way they express silence and quiet....
I must admit that blogging is taking up so much time. Not writing a post but leaving comments. I appreciate the creativity of so many people but besides family, friends, study and work there is not much time left. I hardly make anything myself. There are days that I think about stepping down from blogging besides DT work...Because I really enjoy being a DT member!

I started an Instagram account. A great way to archive and share your creativity too! It's just a tip; maybe it will work for you!
Take care and enjoy your weekend. And spending time with your family!

Stunning photos, Kirsty! I need to focus on getting some things done & not try to do all the challenges I like to do. We shall see how that goes--haha!

Absolutely gorgeous photos, Kirsty! I love each and every one of them and am so happy that you shared them with all of us! The close-ups of the leaves are just as beautiful as the landscapes! I also want to tell you how much I am LOVING Our Beautiful World!

I've walked those paths - 18 years ago with my young son strapped into a sling. Fond memories that your beautiful photos brought to mind! I think balance is important and so as much as I'd rather see more of your beautiful creations, I'm wishing you balance which leads to joy!

Great photos! It is difficult going back to school and arranging everything when the new year comes! I am trying to be more productive too but it isn't always possible. AriadnefromGreece!
