Our Beautiful World 39 ~ Rainbow

This week at

Milagros picked the word

RAINBOW

On one of our road trip last year, we captured this on I-15.

the desert is so wide open that we can see both end of the rainbow, my husband told me that is rare to see two pots of gold. It is so big my camera can't get the whole thing in one frame, this is the left end

and this is the right end

my favorite is THIS one here.... where I used my zoom lens to pull it up close

come play along with us

Wow wow wow...breathtakingly beautiful Kirsty! Reminds me of a full circle rainbow I saw once on a flight during which the pilot pointed out this was pretty rare. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Kathy

Wowzers Kirsty, great shots! We don't get to see too many rainbows, and hardly ever on plains like these!

Oh wow, that looks so surreal... Great shots too. I'd never have thought you could actually zoom in on a rainbow (so stupid, lol!)

What a great rainbow! I have the same problem with the picture being bigger than my lens, so I use a program called autostitch to put together all the photos of the scene!

I love your first photo Kirsty - it's amazing, the whole rainbow and the rain...I just love rainbows. have a super week Cheers.ps my new camera has a panorama mode and it works fabulously - takes a heap of shots over 180 and stitches them together.

Great photo's....rainbows are certainly so amazing! Lovely how were able to capture it! My son asked me the other day whether there really was a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow...and I said "of course".....so if you can photograph that next time, that would be awesome!!!!!!! ;-)))))))
