The Challenge:
All our dreams can come true, if we have the COURAGE to pursue it.
~ Walt Disney
Here's the sketch from Bird is the word
Here's my layout
picture was taken in 2006, when my daughter Clare received a music award in Sydney, we stopped by the Opera House for photos
that's that girl - that has big dream
When Clare graduated from The Juilliard School, she insisted to go to CalArts instead of continuing her study in New York City, it was a struggle for me but I realized that it should be Clare's choice and not mine, her dream school is CalArts in California, and that's where she is, and happy right now, I thought the quote is just perfect, not only she is that girl who dare to pursue her dream, the man behind CalArts is also Walt Disney.
One more thing I need to mention in this post is the new die I bought, it is from MFT. I am amazed at how "clean" it cuts with just one go, usually when I have a die cut that has delicate and small details, it never works well with my cuttle bug, but this one, PERFECT! hmmm... I might look into buying more die from MFT from now on.
Thanks for stopping by....

so wonderful !
Hello from Elma
Wow that photo looks amazing, and I love the spotty back ground, a wonderful take on the challenge, and thanks so much for joining in at BITW too!
Hi, Kristy! I love your layout and story about your daughters journey. I know it is hard not to push them in what we as parents think is the right direction for them. We have to let them go and find their own path and offer our wisdom and thoughts but in the end it is their choice. I also wanted to thank you for your visit to my blog and your kind comment. I did link my photo up to Our Beautiful World. Funny I had just run across it earlier just this week from someone's blog. Thanks for asking me to play along.
PS I guess it was your blog that I found Our Beautiful World when I stopped by to see your Tuesday Trigger card. I have a short memory. :)
