I am not too happy....

Do you ever feel this way?

That you have the idea all brewing in your mind for days, but the project did not turn out the way you want, and even after 2 more attempts, you still do not get the result you want, (*sigh.....) I am not too happy with this one

you gotta to pop over to Jingle Belles to look at the inspiration photo and you will know what I mean

I think your card is lovely, Kirsty, put it away and look at it next week. then you can figure out what you don't like and try it again, or not as it is a great Christmas card! Have a wonderful and fun weekend.

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I love a project, but after I photograph it, I'm not happy. This looks gorgeous to me, though!! Love the gold flourish!! ~ Blessings, Tracey

I feel that way all the time! I think we are all too hard on ourselves! Your card is very Pretty! LOVE the heart and the snowflake flourishes! Just walk away, make something else, and let us admire your creation!

We all know exactly how you feel ... but I always figure the true joy is in the process, not necessarily the outcome ... although I think this particular outcome is absolutely lovely ... gorgeous gold flourish ... always thrilled to see you at jingle belles.

To be honest I don't see why you shouldn't be happy about your card Kirsty, for I really love those beautiful dies! But I think we can all relate to your feeling.

thanks for popping by. i feel like that a lot too and sometimes have tried more than twice to get it right; why did it look better in my mind's eye? lol. i love this card and all the elements you've used fit perfectly with the theme. i love the little tree too with the mini ornaments.

It;s souch a relief to read that I am not the only one who is thinking this way. But don't underestimate yourself; your card is lovely. We strive for perfection and putting too much pressure on ourselves. Just enjoy the process of creating. I love your work; including this card:)

well, i honestly cannot tell *WHY* you aren't happy with this, but i can definitely relate to the feeling of a card not having captured the picture that was IN MY HEAD, so i assume something similar happened here. b/c as a stand-alone card AND as a great take on our scandinavian inspiration at JINGLE BELLES, it totally rocks! ♥
