Hey, it a NEW challenge over at LESSology, did you pop over to check it out yet?
I was going to alter a mason jar, but they are new, so I turn to my old "dusty" Ikea jar(vase???) instead
it is a little old so the cleaning up part is tough...
but after that, its all fun.....
first I pick this up from my front porch.....
pull a little bit of green and brown moss from the artificial flower arrangement and plant my little tree in the jar.....
print my favorite bear Winnie the pooh from my folder, color it with chalk, cut it out....
now my favorite part, do you remember these page pebbles from long long time ago, LOL! (I think they are at least 15 years old), they used to be clear, now they aged and turned yellow, but it is PERFECT for my little ballon....
a little hot glue to keep the wire in between 2 pieces of the pebbles makes that little yellow balloon looks even more realistic...
now my pooh bear and his beloved balloon...
there is a secret that I am going to reveal now, this is what my craft table looks like all year round, but I really have a good reason for keeping those "unwanted" pieces....
see, a tiny craft punch (do they still sell these?) and all those bits and pieces of tiny paper never to go waste....
awww... my favorite time of the year......
see those "mess" the hot glue left? I think they make perfect spider webs, so I just leave them there....
here's my cute jar......
and ya, we need to show you a close up of what Pooh said to the balloon....
....... if there ever comes a day
when we can't be together
keep me in your heart...
I'll stay there forever.....

This is SO darn amazing, Kirsty! I love, love, love your take on this challenge. The tree branch is so creative, and that Pooh with his balloon simply warms my heart. I've always loved Pooh, and have passed that on to my daughter. She has such a love for him, she would go over the moon if she saw this.
