Hey, I am sharing with you my DT project for
LESSology is all about recycling and upcycling, if you are "thinking green" or a thrift store junky just like me, you are going to love LESSology
Our first challenge is to altered a found book or make one out of scrap, here's a book I found at a local thrift store for 50 cents...
I just love that color of that cover..... I "borrowed" the tulle from a gift wrap and TADA......
A Paris book.........
One of my dream is to live in Paris for at least 6 months.....
by then, I will probably miss my friends and family, and I will need a lot of notecards to send home...
notecards with matching envelopes.....
a lot a lot of them.....
in my Paris Book.....
wrap them up pretty.....
and move to Paris with me......
So come on and join us at LESSology, we have not just one but TWO PRIZES for challenge # 1, thanks to our wonderful sponsor Creative Charms

Spectacular Kirsty! You couldn't have given your book a more Parisian feel! I know it would lie beautifully on your bed stand in your new Paris abode!! Hope your dreams will come true one day.
I saw it and fall in love! Every detail is perfect and I love the Paris stamp??? Is it a stamp?
Such an amazing project - very inspirational!
Hi Kristy!
I saw your project over on the Lessology blog and had to see more up close! This is a fabulous idea, one that I would love to try myself. Actually, I did try, but have yet to finish. How did you get the cut so even on the pages and did you stabilize it with anything? Such as gluing all the pages together? I may not have finished in time for the altered book challenge, but this still has potential and may make a fun "trinket box" for challenge #2 :>)
