I used PTI In Bloom stamp set, and I like how my card turn out, by the way, In Bloom is my very first Papertrey Ink Stamp set, and from then, there is not return, I am a customer and follower every month!

despite the many layers, it is still an envelope-friendly card, that means I can still send this without paying "bulky padded envelope" price

andI also love the effect of the coloring with ink on vellum

I am trying to make more one layer card lately, so this is perfect!

envelope friendly card, good for international postage, first of all, it is much cheaper than sending it with a padded envelope, and best part is - I can just use the stamp I have at home, do not require custom declaration, so I don't have to stand in line at the post office, NICE!

How was your weekend? 

We had a little gathering with the Singapore Association of Nevada yesterday to celebrate Father's Day, lots of food and chit chatting, it was fun!

We met the owner of Sukantara (a resort we stayed at in Chiang Mai) Sam in March, we love the place so much and we want to write a thank you note to tell him how much we had enjoyed the place, here's a photo card for Sam

Summer Woods

Ever since we got back from our "Round the World Trip" in April, my husband is thinking of Sukantara everyday (Sukantara is the resort we stayed at in Chiang Mai that build on the water fall). So sometime last week, he just decided that we need a little get-away, go to a place just like Sukantara, 

L'Auberge de Sedona

Just a few hours drive...

and we are here.....

Sedona, Arizona

L'Auberge de Sedona is a resort situated on the banks of Oak Creek in Sedona Red Rock Country

we dine under the sycamore trees by the creek, love the sound of the water, ahhh......just like Sukantara, only with a higher price tag! My husband said that the one meal here at L'Auberge cost as much as all the meals combined we had at Sukantara for the entire trip, LOL!

We enjoy sitting by the creek, listening to the sound of the water and do nothing at all.....

I think the duck is enjoying the day just as much as we do

we did drive into town for some lovely art work though

at night, the resort offer stargazing session, we viewed the stars with an aid of an expert astronomer, and with his poweful telescopes, oh my.... Saturn is surely beautiful!

my picture did not turn out well, so I grab one from the internet (source-http://www.earthsky.org), it looks exactly like this one!

Well.... I hope you are enjoying your week, I am just going to stay at home to avoid the heat!
