I have to admit that the blue isn't quite right when I see the photo

anyway I was having Christmas in mind as I know I am a bit late this year, I might have trouble if I don't work on the holiday cards soon.

I skipped the last time when PTI Make it Monday had a tutorial using perfect pearl because I do not have any at home, this time, I was determined to drive to Michaels and get myself some so I can play along! : )

oh wow, I love the effect of the perfect pearl, why didn't I get them earlier?



the trees, the snowflakes for the background, and the tag are all my newest toys, the latest release from PTI this month



oh and not forgetting the latest color Vintage Jadeite, I bought the cardstock only because I was too early on the release night, the ink pad haven't even show up on the site when I did my shopping 

Other PTI products include PTI inks scarlet jewel and spring rain.

I just had my Halloween/Fall decor up late last week.....

this year I have a string of orange light, it is really pretty at night....... I am still not very good with taking picture in the dark, so I have no picture to show here : (

basket of pine cones I picked from my front yet mostly....

here's the center piece for the dining table....

not a whole lot of BOO but here's a little more at the entrance corner table

coffee table.....

and upstairs near the stairways.... the pumpkins in the tiny glass house/box is the only new thing I purchased this year, you know me, I just like to recycled things and get creative with the stuff I already had at home. We don't have a big garage to store things so I really have to minimize my purchases for decór.

September 1

Dolce went back to NYC for school today, she is very attached to Papi and we have to do a lot of facetime - Papi and Dolce, as she missed him badly.

September 4

I had lunch with my friends Nancy and Bee Lee, it is always fun to eat and chat with these girls.

September 5

Today we took Papi to Mt. Charleston and hike the Mary Jane Fall.

he was all excited on our way there.....

the last time I hiked Mary Jane Fall was in May, it still had snow on our way up

this time of the year, the water all dried up..... and it took us nearly two an a half hour just to go up to the fall, and it was tedious, maybe we are old! : (

oh no, the young puppy is tired too, he refused to walk on our way down

"NO, I am tied" said Papi

"No, pick me up mom, please......."

"Dad, I really need to take a break, let's sit for a while"

it was tired, all three of us, but it was fun

"and TIRED"

"Wake me up when we get home"
