Happy Birthday Ambros

My friend Ann has a boy named Ambros, his birthday is first week of May, but since this card is going all the way to Germany, I guess it is time to post it now. 

(I hope Ann is not reading my blog)

Ambros can slide the button from left to right, I think it is kind of fun, oops, I forgot Ambros is turning 16, he was still a little boy when I last saw him few years ago in Grafing, Germany, LOL! Anyway, boys are boys, he will still have fun with this one (I think....)

Hello there, I am sharing with you a layout today

this month challenge is to used MAPS and BRADS

I started by digging out the city maps and road maps I kept over the years...

I tried to make a background out of it, but uh... no, I don't like the results, so I started adding "stuff" all over... LOL

ink, mist, pastel.... uh.... I tried them all (still don't like it)

I think I spent 3 days on and off on this layout, LOL!

April, such a lovely month

everything in the garden is blooming....

and many more are on their way.....

they were like that in March...

and now they look like that....

it is looking like we are going to have some radishes soon..

that really keeps me going....

even those in the craft room are doing pretty well...

and those on my pretty plate too...

I so love April....
