City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 76 - Sandi Says.....

Before I begin to show you my project for City Crafter Challenge Blog, I would like to give a big cyber hug to all my blog friends, I hesitated when I wrote the "shadow box for Clare" post, but now I am glad I did. I cried when I was writing that post, and I cried even more when I was reading all the comments you gals wrote me, THANK YOU so much for your sweet and encouraging words, THANK YOU for being sweet blog friends, I am so glad I found you and I can only wish that someday, we could meet in real life, I will be giving all of you a big hug then......

    What mother's don't realize, Kirsty, is that from the day your child is born he or she is growing away from you. That is life's plan, it becomes reality when that first step takes them away. But it is a new beginning, with a new relationship! You will always miss Clare, no matter how old you both are. Your card is beautiful and a lovely take on Sandi's card! It will be a fun challenge!     I'm so very happy you wrote that amazing shadow box post, Kirsty. I know I said it already, but I can really relate to it, and I think it's awesome to know that there really are a lot of people out there that have gone through similar situations. Sending you giant (hugs), my friend!
    And I LOVE your card. Such a great interpretation of Sandi's fun card. I love the black and love the scallops. Fabulous birdcage and butterflies. I absolutely adore the color combo and the small pop of yellow. And what a stunning ribbon and bow. :)
