City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 428 ~ By Sea or Sky

We moved the new house on Friday, the movers came at 7AM and left at 6 PM, and still cannot get everything done, over the weekends, both of us have to drive back and forth from old house to new house to bring the rest of the stuff, and this morning, we finally managed to get help from someone who is willing to work on labor day and bring the bigger items that cannot fit into the car to the new place, whew...... I track my steps on my apple watch, oh boy, I completed all three circles on the watch all 4 days, which I only achieved when I am traveling and on my foot all day.

Why do I have so much stuff??????

Goal I set for myself moving forward - to get rid of most of my crafting stuff!!!!

I have not turn on my computer since last Friday, I finally had to hook it up to write this post! Ok, I better get on point and then get back to unpacking!

....................................

This week at City Crafter Challenge Blog, the theme is by Sea or Sky, check out challenge details HERE!!!!

the stamped images and sentiment are all from Papertrey Ink....

The stitched line die is from My Favorite Thing, I finish it up, I added some Nuvo Jewel drops.

  2. That is a darling card, Kirsty! I love how you used the lines of the MFT die as a guide for the stamps. So happy to hear you are in your new home! Sometimes it takes a move to show us what we really have that we never use. Be patient with yourself with the unpacking!

  4. Happy New Home, Kirsty! I can only imagine all the work--one reason I don't want to consider moving again! How can you want to get rid of most of your crafty stuff?! It's killing me to get rid of even the stuff I no longer use as I feel so guilty for wasting all that money. On to your card which is super creative & cute--love it!

  7. Your card is so clever. I really like the color scheme and the stitched die is perfect with those stamps and embellishments.

I'm glad to hear most of the moving is done. I've been through an thorough cleaning of the Scrapbox in the past week. One big bag and a box full to give away at the convention in town next week. Yay!

I will hope you have the same success in "culling the herd" in your craft supplies!

It's always a very freeing thing to do. I love your card so much! I have that linear die from MFT and have had no idea how to use it on a card! Shazambam, now I know! Bless you and mwah! 12. SO cute! I love those little travel icons, and love how you used them! I often struggle with using smaller images like these, and this is such a great idea! Love how those pierced lines mimic little roads, or flight paths. Really clever!
Congrats on your move! Good luck with the unpacking!
