Happy Spring!!!!!
I just found a drafted post that I haven't hit "publish", I guess I was in Tokyo when Spring arrived, so here you go, with some beautiful Sakura from Tokyo as well!
We went to Tokyo March 16, typically is a little early for Sakura. Flower viewing is a big thing in Japan during Cherry blossom Festival, which is spring, it is peak traveling season for Japan, mid March is early but we were lucky enough to have some early bloom, even on the street.
when I am in Japan, I love visiting Shrine, it always makes me feel calm and peaceful...
Nezu Shrine is one of Japan's oldest shrine, nearly all its structures are extant from they were build or rebuilt in 1706.
The best part of the Shrine that I love is the landscape, don't you think the layers of green are just beautiful?
The custom in Japan is that you purify yourself at a Shrine with these wooden ladle at the Chozuya (or some called Temizuya, which is like a little water fountain)
and always remember, hold the ladle with your right hand first, cleanse your left hand and then switch hand.
more beautiful Sakura at Nezu Shrine....
With these beautiful cherry blossom, I am wishing you a wonderful Spring again!
Thanks for stopping by!
