Our Beautiful World Week 32 ~ Repetition

This week at

The word is

REPETITION

Chosen by Wendy

When we are on a road trip, I like to bring something to do in the car, so I could stay awake and keep the driver, my husband company.

when you make something like that, you have to go through lots of repetition, doing the same thing again, again and again

first is to cut them out

and then tack them onto the little piece of paper (I don't even know what you call them, I bought them when I learn Japanese quilting, do you use this here in America?) Well, what I was trying to say is you do the same thing many many times

finally stitch all the tiny pieces together, add padding and backing

and then hand-stitch all the edges while taking out all the little paper

ok, here's where I stand now, will show you the end result when I am done!

Come play along with us

  4. Oh, my! This looks amazing! I made a stocking out of hexagons last year (but with much larger hexagons), and it was a very time consuming project. I can only image the work and time you put into this. Can't wait to see the final product.
