STILLNESS
I picked this photo I took in Chiang Mai, Thailand back in March
{Edited with Picmonkey, my favorite online editor}
Chiang Mai is northern part of Thailand, I always wanted to go there but my husband wasn't that excited at all, but guess what, after that trip, he never stop talking about Sukantara, the resort we stayed at during our 4 days there.
I think I have posted a few photos I took in Chiang Mai HERE, HERE and HERE, if you want to check out the resort that build on waterfalls, do feel free to click on the links.
Sitting there having my morning tea, everything surrounded us feel so still and calm
the handle of the door to our room...
the stool at our balcony, that looks like oreo cookie....
the rice paddy.....
the multi-color stones....
even the crafted one....
the other statues at the entrance of the resort....
oh I better stop here as I could easily dig out another 50 photos I took at the resort that give me the sense of stillness...... ahhhhhhh
come on and share with us

ReplyDeleteBeautiful post and photos Kirsty. And when I was in Chang Mai area years ago, I felt so much at peace... so this brings back sweet and peaceful memories.
ReplyDeleteHi Kirsty,
ReplyDeleteVibrant colour and layered textures in your beautiful photos, as the stillness of the statues make their own statement.
