Hi there, today is my turn to host at City Crafter Challenge Blog
Do you ever look at the cards or projects you created months or years ago, do you ever talk to yourself "did I really make that", do you ever wish that you could do a better job by adding this, taking that away, use a different color, or paper etc etc. Oh yes, this happened to me all the time, so I really want to take one of my old project and give it a MAKE OVER!
Here's a card I made in August 2009, I just started card-making and blogging two months ago at that time.
I love the sketch of this card so I am giving a NEW LOOK to this old card
I like the new look now, just not sure if I still think the same 2 years later, LOL!
Alright, I hope you pop by City Crafter to check the challenge out!!!!
Hope you are having fun in Japan Kirsty! :)

ReplyDeleteOh, Kirsty, I loved Japan. We went three times when I was in the eastern part of the world. I love Tokyo, but I think Kyoto was the best! Your remake of the 2009 card is lovely. Several years of crafting really makes a difference. I cringe at some of the cards I made then! Have fun and a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to spend some cherished time with friends, have a good time in Japan Kirsty, lovely card, such a delightful makeover!

Great fun pic of the three of you! I really like the new card. Both are nice, but I like the new look...a little softer and such a beauty of an image!
ReplyDeleteBoth are very pretty, but I love the shabby look on the second. Such soft and pretty colors.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to see how much your style changes over the years? I look back at some of my early stuff and just chuckle! But as long as we are always having fun, that's all that matters, right? I LOVE your re-make of your old card! Every little inch is just stunning! So soft and romantic, so many amazing details!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful you were able to meet up with your old friends! What beautiful ladies you all are!
