nice, easy and calm......
since I got a lot more time in my hands now that I don't have the girls with me, I play with this photo taken at San Francisco my last trip there. I am still so new to Photoshop even I bought it almost a year ago, just have no time to play with it.
I also get into my craft room, get a lot done today... when I said a lot, I mean 2 cards, LOL
I am not a very fast crafter, it always take a long time to get just one project done.
I not only break into my newest flower die from PTI, that got here last week when I was gone, I also used the older stamp set "All About You" for the sentiment as well as another die from PTI
I made this card specially to enter the challenge over at
if you know me enough, I am a huge PTI fan, I bought their stuff every single month, I got so many that I can't possibly use them all even I create something everyday, well, playing with A Passion for Papertrey kind of let me find an excuse to dig out the old stuff to use
Your card is GORGEOUS!!! I loveeeeeee the flowers!!!!
ReplyDeleteI better worked with Coral draw- but photoshop is much better and you will learn it soon
ReplyDeleteHello from Elma
I'm sure you miss the girls but I'm also sure you enjoy the opportunity to get some crafting in. Your card is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to laugh because it takes me only forever to get a card done and you've done 2 in a couple of days!
Such a fun card, Kirsty, love your flowers! Have a wonderful weekend, too! I am planting more flowers tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWell I love your card ... and I wish we were nearer so we could pass the time with chatting and crafting
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity and beauty of this card.
ReplyDeleteHave fun playing with Photoshop Kirsty, there are lots of possibilities to try out. Your flower card is really nice!

I like what you did with the pic. The softness at the edges look really nice! Your card is very sweet as well!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. Love your adorable card too!
ReplyDeletegorgeous card and that SF photo is LUSCIOUS!!! (i also love the LO of randy that's further down, for that matter!!!) totally hear ya re being a "slow" crafter, it's a big day for me to get multiple things (2!!!) started AND finished!!! genius like ours just cannot be RUSHED tho, right?! :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card, Kirstie! I'm always inspired by your sweet work. I saw your comment on Melissa Bove's blog about your daughter leaving for college. I feel your pain! Our middle daughter is back at college (her second year), and I just hate all the QUIET at my house. The years pass by MUCH too quickly.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day, and just know that I feel your same empty heart. Perhaps some retail crafting therapy could help! LOL
Blessings,
Karen
