LESSology challenge 12 ~ Photo Block

Hi, I am back here with LESSology challenge #12 - Photo Block Challenge

When I told my daughter Dolce that I need to make a photo block, she gave me this photo

her favorite Laurel and Hardy

Dolce loves movies from the 20s and music from the 40s, sometime I think she is an old lady living in a young body, she can talk about music and movies in those period like no one could, is she really just 16 years old?

now I got the photo, I start looking for things from my stash to altered

this box sure looks like a good item

painted it black and there goes Laurel and Hardy

lots of bits and pieces of patterned paper in black and white

glue it, gesso it

"Things are not always black and white"

I think the quote is pretty good for my stubborn little teenager : )

now paint my little wooden block black with some stamping (for the stand)

adding embellishment

now my little girl can take this photo block with her to college comes September : (
